Saw it eons ago. Charming coming-of-age film. Nicely acted by everyone involved.

Good film, not great. It needed Gervais in a meatier role. It was nice to see some of actors from The Office and Extras though, as well as Ralph Fiennes and Matthew Goode, but every time that Ricky Gervais is not on screen (which is most of the film), my interested waned. Nice story in need of something grander as it too heavily relies on nostalgia and innocent humour. Still, Gervais does shine through in the writing department. His quick wit is unmistakable.
