Pretty damn good.

Agreed. Really dug this nasty dark comedy/thriller.

Cheap Thrills

Not hard enough. When you have this premise, one expects it to be pretty hard core, but Cheap Thrills is anything but. The idea is great, and it gets good up until halfway through, then the bets start getting interesting, but they skip a whole portion of the film where the bets could have been outrageous, and instead they go immediately to "kill a man", which was a let down, and thus the end of the film.

The film does open up a whole conversation about morality, how far we would go for money and what we'd personally be able to accomplish for life-changing amounts of money. But at no point did I feel that it was the authority on this topic.

Cheap Thrills requires more gore, much more sex and nudity, more risks, and more rebellion. The scene where Violet wants to have sex with our protagonist is really badly handled. It's not intense or erotic, and is completely wasted. Cheap Thrills could have been one of those indie productions that makes it big due to its cool ideas and perfectly daring execution, but instead it will be forgotten (just like 13 Sins) as an attempt to be slick.
