THE NUT JOB

Caught this at screening full of children and babies and it was in 3D. I didn't like too much. I wasn't terrible as I sat through the story. I chuckled a few times, but it just didn't pull me in.
I did like the pug since I have a pug. That was cute, but this is strictly a film for children. Not teens or adults. We're talking 10 and below, maybe 9. Also, the voice acting wasn't that good to me here. It didn't draw me into the film.

Grade - C

The Nut Job is not a kids' film.

Sure, many kids will enjoy it, but it's actually a very adult and rather artsy slapstick comedy with a dark and world weary sense of humor.

The CGI is for once drawn and brought to life with a distinctive style and kickass lighting.

The Nut Job will still be on everyone's latest mediatransducer fifty years from now. It's that classic.

A must see!
