Quote:
Jobs is a 2013 American biographical drama film based on the life of Steve Jobs, from 1971 to the introduction of the iPod in 2001. It is directed by Joshua Michael Stern, written by Matt Whiteley, and produced by Mark Hulme. Jobs also has two cinematographers: Russell Carpenter for scenes shot in the United States and Aseem Bajaj for scenes shot in India. Steve Jobs is portrayed by Ashton Kutcher, with Josh Gad as Apple Computer's (now Apple Inc.) co-founder Steve Wozniak.

Jobs was chosen to close the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.

Since when did this change from jOBS to Jobs? I kind of preferred the iPhone/iPad/iPod-related weirder title.

This movie is a tribute to materialism. I particularly enjoyed the "Jesus walking among his disciples" scene. :funny:

JOBS

Not the best meaty biopic in the world, but it's not bad either. I was actually quite interested throughout the film. It was interesting to see how it all somewhat began just like Social Network. It's cool to see the origination of an idea evolve into companies or products and how it affects the creators/founders. I thought Ashton was actually good here. He seemed to really get that Jobs speech pattern at least in terms of his presentation speaking. After he got ousted the film kind of sped through time and next thing you know he's with this woman and I guess his original girlfriend and child. Overall, it was a decent film.

Grade - B
