Desert Heat

I must say, this is one boring movie. He's left for dead in the desert and he comes upon this small town where nobody likes him very much. There's not a lot of action. It's directed by the once great John G. Avildsen, who just keeps getting worse and worse. Rocky was his masterpiece, then Rocky V dragged him down into mediocrity, then Desert Heat ended his career. Danny Trejo's inclusion doesn't make this flick any better. It's scored by Bill Conti, stars Pat "wax on, wax off" Morita and stars Avildsen's son, it's just one big friends reunion movie. But I do like Van Damme's name in this; Eddie Lomax. It's so cool.

Apparently it's a remake of Yojimbo , which I didn't know until a few days ago. So for all of you film snobs out there, you should check this out.
