GUILT TRIP
Watch this Monday and I was hoping it was gonna be funny road trip film but unfortunately I was disappointed. It certainly has a few funny moments but nothing outrageous. It was mildly entertaining. The older people in the audience seemed to enjoy it a bit more than I. Definitely rental material.

Re: The Guilt Trip
It's a cute movie. Nothing groundbreaking, but it definitely has its fair share of funny moments. I thought Barbra Streisand was great and there are a lot of great actors in supporting roles (unfortunately most, such as Casey Wilson and Ari Graynor, have blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameos). I saw it with my mom who really enjoyed it and found it funny and sad. It's definitely a good option if you're looking for something harmless to see with your parents over the holidays. B

Re: The Guilt Trip
Not the most hilarious film ever, but it is clear the stars are comfortable with each other, there are a few ace comic set pieces, and the third act is touching.

This was a really nice movie. Really sweet and touching. A good one to watch with your mom. I watched it with both of my parents and they really liked it too.
