 The Collection The Collection Quote: The Collection is a 2012 horror film, a sequel to the 2009 film, The Collector. It stars Emma Fitzpatrick and Josh Stewart, who reprises his role as Arkin. It is written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, directed by Dunstan, and was released on November 30, 2012.

Re: The Collection An exciting, stylish, violent, and for the most part superior sequel. The first film's domestic cat-and-mouse suspense is replaced here by a more ambitious and action oriented design. The entire enterprise, from the cast to the costume and production design, is larger and more detailed, and there is a sense the creative team is elated and excited they have the chance to return to this storyline and universe. It opens with a major spectacle (a nightclub murder spectacular reminiscent of Ghost Ship's memorable opening) and stays fast and furious until its clever ending, which indicates a third film without registering as too ambiguous and open. Josh Stewart remains an engaging presence as the protagonist, a sly thief and survivalist. Fans of the first film will be pleased, and I expect this will expand this new franchise's fan base as it opens around the world and then, of course, hits home video.

this was a passable film. It's nothing special. The bad guy kills for no reason but this film at least provides a satisfying conclusion twice.

Re: The Collection This was a blast and better than the first. A very fun time! Emma Fitzpatrick is adorable. Loved the club massacre.
This series deserves more viewers. If they eventually make a third I'll be there.
