Solid. It does not come close to Jaws or Rogue, of course, but it's playful, fast paced, features decent (for the genre) performances, and embraces its R rating. I dig how it includes a potent dose of over-the-top, fan-pleasing camp without sacrificing suspense and atmosphere. One complaint: I wish the computer generated elements weren't so unconvincing. It is not hard to just smile and play along considering the genre and, I presume, modest budget, but still.

That opening scene was so terrible it immediately had thinking this was another Shark Night. I was wrong though! Once the main story gets going it drops the ham and in place were given actual tension and suspense. I was rooting for characters that I normally would like to see eaten. Definitely worth checking out if you are into shark movies. B

I thought it was quite fun.
