Quote:
Straw Dogs is a 2011 American thriller film directed, produced, and written by Rod Lurie. It is a remake of Sam Peckinpah's 1971 film of the same name, in turn based on the Gordon Williams novel The Siege of Trencher's Farm.

I think you might be the only one who likes this movie, well EBERT did give it 3.5/4 but Susan George will always be head and shoulders above Kate Bosworth.. Susan George displayed sensuality that Bosworth lacked.. I'm not surprised by the low score this has received...

I haven't seen the original, but I thought this was really good. Very well-made. James Marsden was great. All I know is I will never be going anywhere like the location in this movie :P. What a scary place.

I do have one question though. Why does Amy run barefoot? ;)
