Post Gojira [Godzilla]

Godzilla (ゴジラ Gojira) is a 1954 Japanese science fiction kaiju film. The film was directed by Ishirō Honda and produced by Tomoyuki Tanaka. In 1956, a heavily edited version was released in the U.S. as Godzilla, King of the Monsters!. The original Japanese-language version is now available in the United States and Britain under the title Gojira. It was the first of many kaiju films released in Japan, many of which also feature Godzilla.

It is a good movie made by Ishirô Honda, who survived both nuclear bombings (Hiroshima and Nagasaki).

Definitely a true monster Classic that sort of started everything I would say.. However, I can't imagine today's teens really getting into a black and white monster movie like this with a guy walking around in a rubber suit stepping on model buildings, but it is a classic other than that..

Dated, but still brutally effective.
