I enjoyed this one - - a glimpse of what the overrated Kick Ass might have been.

7 out of 5.

Post Re: Defendor
Defendor has the cast and material needed for a great film but the result is crappy. Woody Harrelson does what he can as Defendor but he becomes too whiny on screen and a bit too over himself at the same time. Kat Dennings is wasted here as her story really doesn't do much to enrich Defendor's life in any way except to tell him where a big crime boss is at. The film can't decide if it wants to be a comedy or a drama and the plot goes every which way and becomes very generic. At least the film didn't take the simple way out and took a different approach not seen in many films. However the ending was a bit too quick. It's a shame the film couldn't live up to its potential. *
