Post Re: Ichi

Rented this from netflix a few days ago and watched it this week. I liked this movie alot. It gives you nice sword fighting action while also giving you an interesting story. The film really takes it time helping us learn about Ichi through present day scenes and some flashbacks. They also use that with the samuraii that "saved" her early on in the picture. There is an acceptable use of slo mo action as well and they use the blood splatter like 300 but it looks more real. There are also some light comedic moments peppered in the film which helps lighten situations as needed. Overall, it was a very good very enjoyable movie with no cheesy moments to bring it down.

It's been showing up on my netflix for weeks now, and with you really enjoying it, I think I'll go ahead and rent it soon.
