This was one mean little nasty fucker of a flick. It's very lean, suspenseful entertainment that doesn't make too much sense in the end, but I enjoyed the ride along the way. The performances by Lorraine Stanley and especially the young Georgia Groome are great and help the believability of the film a lot. I wasn't a big fan of the ending, though. It just seemed like somewhat of a copout.
Paul Andrew Williams has shown himself to be a promising filmmaker with this film, a promise he later held with the very entertaining horror comedy The Cottage.
