Blood and Bone
I've always thought Michael Jai White was a great physical actor but with Black Dynamite and now this he is quickly becoming one of my favorite action stars. You probably know him best from his lead role in "Spawn". White plays the title character in Blood and Bone. As Bone we see him first in a prison bathroom getting ready to be shanked and beat the shit out of by Kimbo Slice and a couple of dozen other inmates. We don't know why they want to do him harm but they picked the wrong Mother Fer' to mess with today. Bone calmly tells the group to back the F up or there's going to hell to pay. Of course they don't listen and he proceeds to beat the crap out of everyone without breaking a sweat. He then calmly tells the last guy standing to tell the rest of the inmates in the prison dont think about messing with him any further. It reminds you a little bit of the prison scene from Hancock but it's much more effective and is a kick ass why to start a movie.
Fast forward a couple of years and Bone is released from prison and he sets out on a mission to help a friend from prison who died. He wants to infiltrate the local underground fight clubs and locate the persons responsible for his friends death and to help fulfill a promise he made to his dead friend.
From there the movie is a series of fights in the vein of the first Ong Bak, very brutal and great action scenes.
