 G-Force
G-Force Quote: G-Force is a 2009 spy-fi comedy film produced by Jerry Bruckheimer for Walt Disney Pictures in Disney Digital 3-D. Written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, the film is the directorial debut of Hoyt Yeatman, whose earlier work includes contributions in the area of visual effects. It was released in the United States on July 24, 2009 and reached number 1 in the box office with $30 million.
This is the first live-action Disney film to be produced in Disney Digital 3-D, not including two concert films, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert and Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience. The film was shown in competing 3-D technologies like Dolby 3D and RealD Cinema.

 Re: G-Force
Stuck my head in for half an hour. It interested me enough to go back for the rest sometime. A lot of the humor fell flat and attempts at throw-backs to the old spy/action genre flicks felt more like copying than homage, but some of the humor was surprisingly sharp. What I wanted to say now was that the 3D present in this film seemed far superior to most of what we've seen. Rather gimmicky sure, not nearly as intricate and wonderful as Coraline, but still much more noticable and fun than the weak attempts in UP and IA3.

 Re: G-Force
Much, much better than I'd ever hoped for - - G-Force turned out to be a quality guinea pig spy movie. The scene where the baby mole receives advice from his father is itself worth the price of admission!!! The one sour note was Penelope Cruz's terrible voice acting here - - though that was mostly offset by the fun the other voice actors were having, including an unexpected turn by Tracy Morgan, and then Steve Buscemi, Nicholas Cage, Jon Favreau, and Sam Rockwell. out of  { Edit: Added spoiler tags.}

D+
We went to see this because when we arrived at the movie theatres nothing else was starting at that time and we didn't want to wait for another hour. It was pretty bad, but hardly surprising. Some of the visual effects were nice and I liked some of the voice work. The plot is as inane as you'd expect from a movie like this and the 3D effects are really not even worth mentioning (some of the least remarkable I have seen to date of the current 3D wave), but its biggest fault is simply that is is very BORING.
