I wish straight-up action flicks like this were still made. The foot chase between Bodie and Utah was pretty great, especially the drop-kicked pit bull. Sure, the acting was a bit hammy between Reeves and Busey, but action movies only require a certain level of believability, and they both pulled that off.

I guess it can be faulted for ushering in the era of "extreme" action movies, but who cares. This is one of those movies that brightens up a boring Sunday afternoon. Too bad Kathryn Bigelow's career was mostly killed with K-19 The Widowmaker.
