 The Witches (1990) The Witches Quote: The Witches is a 1990 film adaptation of the book of the same name by Norwegian-British author Roald Dahl. It was directed by Nicolas Roeg and produced by Jim Henson Productions for Lorimar Film Entertainment and Warner Bros, starring Angelica Huston, Mai Zetterling and Rowan Atkinson. As well as being the final film that Jim Henson personally worked on before his death, this was also the final theatrical film produced by Lorimar Productions.

Re: The Witches (1990) I just saw this gain in I don't know 15 years, and wow I forgot how great this movie is. Genuinely creepy but at the same time very fun adventure with some great over the top performances, especially by Huston. Rowan Atkinson is also fun in a very early non Mr. Bean role. Jim Henson's last movie he worked on but still quite the visionary the effects hold up still quite well today.
