Re: Spy Game
Not one of Tony Scott's better efforts, but still decent. As usual, Scott's style is as great as always, but this film just never picks up. Brad Pitt and Robert Redford give solid performances, though.

Re: Spy Game
I'd say this is very above-average entertainment, although Tony Scott, as usual, sabotages it with his seizure-inducing approach to filmmaking. Shame, too, because this features the best Redford performance since The Sting. He is absolutely on fire here.

It's a decent film, though one of the worse recent efforts by Tony Scott. About on par with Déjà Vu and inferiorto the likes of Domino and Man on Fire. Pitt and Redford deliver solid performances and it's all technically well-made, but it just doesn't entertain a lot and doesn't ignite as much interest in the happenings as it could have.

Re: Spy Game
I adore Spy Game. I am rewatching it on Starz now. It's so much fun. Redford's suave one-liners and mature-Bond vibe, the non-linear, twisty storytelling, the globetrotting action, etc. My favorite Tony Scott film.

Re: Spy Game
Terrific leads, compelling story, great direction. A really good thriller.
