 Star Trek: Generations Star Trek: Generations Quote: Star Trek Generations is a 1994 American science fiction film released by Paramount Pictures. Generations is the seventh feature film based on the Star Trek television series and the first film in the series to star the cast of the spinoff television series Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Parts of the film were shot at the Valley of Fire State Park near Overton, Nevada; Paramount Studios; and Lone Pine, California.
While the film did reasonably well at the box office, it received mixed reviews from critics.

Re: Star Trek: Generations Even with the odd/even mythos of the movies. I think this is a very solid film. Kirk and Picard together were a very fun duo. The story itself is very fun, and Data's subplot with the emotion chip was very good. Good action and Kirk's death was good.

Re: Star Trek: Generations As much as I love Star Trek, I don't care for Generations. Usually the films get a pass under the "guilty pleasure" clause... but man, the end of this film was so fuckin' lame. Not a huge fan. I'm really indifferent to it.
