CANDY - 6/10 (B-)

It's not a bad film but I personally wasn't crazy about it because, just like with all movies about drug addicts, I couldn't relate. The only one I think I loved was REQUIEM FOR A DREAM. The performances here are very good and it was interesting, but not really my thing. Still, I can't bring myself to give it a failing grade because it is a well-done film for the most part. I liked the ending too, which was appropriately depressing, but what happens is for the best.
