The movie was, indeed, more fun than the original, but it also was much campier and way less suspenseful. Still a very decent horror fare, but it was not scary nor was it atmospheric.

Re: Jeepers Creepers 2 I saw this theatrically opening weekend, watched it once a few months after it was on DVD, and then watched it again last night for the first time in a long time. I think it's pretty fun. Loved the opening scene and the Creeper effects were very cool. I still have a difficult time deciding which installment I enjoy more. I loved the set-up in the first but felt it went downhill in the second half. That's not to say it isn't still entertaining.
Really want them to make a third already. It's kind of crazy they haven't yet considering the first two were very successful.

Re: Jeepers Creepers 2 It's funny, but nobody ever does throw up from seeing a movie, but people always use it as an expression of how bad a film is.

JC 2 is the complete opposite of the original. I hated the fun/campy feel this movie has, and when you combine it with making "The Creeper" the focal point or main character - it's worse.
The dark and mysterious feel the original has is all gone when The Creeper is front & center. The acting is pretty bad, and we get the cliches thrown in as well.
The only reason I didn't go "F" is for The Creeper. He's a scary, dynamic character when used properly.

Re: Jeepers Creepers 2 Oh, I remember this one! I did see it. It's the one with the school bus stranded in the middle of nowhere and a few brave students make a run for it and The Creeper picks them off. Doesn't it start off by being on a farm and the "scarecrow" is actuall him? and there's a little girl or something. It's all coming back to me.
I thought the trailers for the first movie were great, then the movie came and I was disappointed. Then the second movie came out and it was pretty much the same as the first but without the disappointment, instead being replaced with just dislike.

Re: Jeepers Creepers 2 Still can't believe they never made a third film to this. I wasn't that big a fan of either, but it looked like the franchise could have had some longevity to it.
