 Little Nicky
Little Nicky Quote: Little Nicky is a 2000 American dark comedy film directed by Steven Brill. It stars Adam Sandler as Nicky, one of Satan's three sons. Sandler's worst, by far. C-

Waaaaay under-rated! Go re-watch this one and tell me to my face that it's as bad as everyone claims. This is one of those movies that only a few people saw in the theatre and developed an unwarranted bad reputation based on a few people who didn't appreciate the edgy humor. This one will end up being remembered well and end up on the top shelf of Sandler's work...
4 out of 5.

Underrated, I don't think it deserved to bomb and I don't think it should be considered his worst. The movie was plenty funny and in my mind he gave a good comedic character performance as Nicky. Its trademark Sandler doing his usual thing and being funny to his capacity. I like it.

I definitely agree with the two posters above. It's a realy underrated and quite funny movie, unlike Sandler "comedies" The Waterboy and the entirely unfunny Big Daddy. This one wasn't absolutely hilarious, but it had a fair share of good jokes and very nice cameo appearance. Take Tarantino's hilarious appearance as the blind priest for once. Or the hilarious and ridiculous opening of the movie. Or Hitler and the pineapple...
Certainly, the movie is as dumb as it gets, but that is exactly what makes it so funny. It's so stupid, so over-the-top and at the same time (in a silly way) imaginative that I can't help, but enjoy it. The cast is a blast with Rodney Dangerfield and Harvey Keitel being pretty much the highlights, but in contrast to most of his movies I didn't mind Aam Sandler here either. His appearance as the utterly idiotic Nicky is one of his funniest I have seen to date. I don't know why it was almmed so much by critics and sank at the box-office, but I for one found to be an enjoyable comedy with a plot stupid, but still interesting enough to follow. It's actually borderline B+ and ties 50 First Dates as my favorite Sandler movie.

Very poor. I usually like Sandler's stupid comedies (I found Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore hilarious), but this was just annoying. D+

The premise is unique, and some parts of the film are funny (Pineapple in Hitler's ass). But this is the only Adam Sandler film where I found him to be somewhat annoying. The film also just falls apart towards the end.
