Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo is a 1999 comedy film starring Rob Schneider. Other cast members include Eddie Griffin, Amy Poehler, Oded Fehr, Arija Bareikis, and William Forsythe.

The story is about a hapless fishtank cleaner who goes into business as a male prostitute in an attempt to earn enough money to repair damage he caused while house-sitting.

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo is the first film released by the Happy Madison Productions film production company.

Decent flick, but nothing great. Miles ahead of the sequel, though.

I dislike Rob Schneider. I dislike him a lot and this movie is part of the reason why. His presence usually brings down most Adam Sandler movies to me as well. This guy is just not funny and when he tries to be, he usually turns out annoying. This movie is not the end of the world, but it has seriously long and unfunny parts that drag, even though the running time of the movie is relatively short. I can't believe it actually had good legs in the USA because I can't think of a reason why. I admit, I did laugh a couple of times, but I think at no time did I laugh at Rob Schneider. With a more skilled comedian this (very stupid) concept could have turned out much funnier. There's no way I will see the (supposedly even worse) sequel.

Funny enough movie, could've been better. And I have to disagree with you on the Schnieder comment. Hes bad in everything except the Sandler movies to me. The reoccuring 'You can do it!' joke is still funny alot of the time considering the situations. Its his saving grace to me most-of the time.

You people disgust me. Don't know a good Rob Schneider if it came up and bit you in the ass. Hilarious film.

Man of the House is still far superior to Deuce Bigalow.

Wrong thread, Mark, heh.

It's for the original, not the sequel ; )

I think its a very funny movie. I like Rob Schneider a lot, and this was the best film he ever starred in. This and Benchwarmers are the best of his stuff, and he's decent most of the time, and its pretty funny. I agree that hes the best when he is supporting though (Big Daddy, 50 First Dates, SNL)

B+ for this and Benchwarmers
Animal and Deuce 2 were definitely C- films though
Havent seen the Hot Chick, but I've heard its pretty good.
