I think Jennifer Garner is very overrated. I mean I like her and all, but I think the attention she gets is just too much, and not deserving. There are much better actresses in my opinion, and I don't know why so many people find her sexy. I think her face structure is disgusting, and she has manly features. At least when Angelina Jolie did Tomb Raider she was convincing in the role, and her body was amazingly toned. Jennifer Garner just looked ridiculous in Elektra. I like Jennifer Garner, and I think Alias is a great show, but I think she is very overrated, especially at this message board.

She garners attention just like any other Hot female actress does.. She has a fine ass and there are parts me that can understand why Howard Stern endorsed Elektra on hias show this morning..

I like Garners beauty over Jolies. Garner has a great body and seems like an all around american girl. Shes someone that I could picture having a fun time with Jolie onther other hand is a bit stuck up. I love Jolie and most of her movies. I am a huge fan of her and think shes a great actress but Garner is a great actress to and shes fresh and just seems together and laid back and I like that.

Angelina Jolie is also somewhat Hot in a slutty sort of way, but Jennifer Garner gets Kudos for that show "ALIAS" she does and I think a majority of her popularity though simply centers around her fine looking body.. She should enjoy this now cause when she's 50, it's all downhill from there..(BKB Anxiously awaits the "Your A Sexist Pig" comments)

No... Garner is a great actress and I don't really think she gets much attention. (And this is coming from a non Garner fanboy :razz: ) How can you tell Garner wasn't convincing in Elektra if you haven't seen the movie yet? (Well, if your talking about Daredevil I understand)

People use motivations like say, competition in female lead action films to slam other actresses. Jennifer Garner shows she can do comedy in her A+ performance in 13 Going on 30. Alias sees her as a new person every week, one minute showing the deafining confidence of a superstar, the next a vunerable college graduate who just wants to be loved.

Her acting performance lifted Daredevil from unbearable to watchable, and she can definately do the same for Elektra however bad it is.

So no, shes not over-rated, if anything - shes under-rated. Actresses like Jennifer Lopez get far more coverage and hype than Garner - yet Lopez is mediocre at the best of times.

First, I'll cover her looks, and where my Jennifer is concerned, she's definitely an incredible looking woman. She is part of my holy trinity , along with Jennifer Connelly and a singer named Jennifer Perkins. All Jennifers, all beautiful. Jennifer Garner's body is also very delicious.

Her acting ability is formidable as well. She has range. She's likable. She's tough enough to do her own stunts. She was an excellent Elektra. She's not anybody that hinders a movie with her performance, she helps it.

Definitely not overrated, she's just very good, and people noticed. =D>

I don't think she's overrated. The fact that she's getting a lot of attention this week is because of her movie.

I agree with Pinkpanther. I don't find her attractive at all. I find her so incredibly ugly, it's not even funny. I don't understand how everyone finds her attractive. She may have a nice body, but her face.. ugh. I guess to each their own though, so it's all cool. On the other hand, I don't really find Angelina Jolie attractive either. She has pretty eyes and lips, and she's not ugly by any means, I just don't find her as attractive and beautiful as everyone else does.

i just believe that Jennifer Garner seems to have an anit-following on online box office communities. Which is lame.

All successful actresses have something that makes them succesful, and even if Elektra totally horrifically bombs [which i doubt it will] shes got Alias to fall back on

It's hard to find her overrated, when she has only had three major film roles. Perhaps the attention she gets is a bit much, but it isn't based on nothing. "Alias" is a great show, and it would be nothing without her. And, she's beautiful, especially on the show. Okay, that one picture of her that Snrub posted does look a bit like his description, but most pictures of her aren't like that. Meh, I can't say much where people will take me seriously, seeing as how my avatar is her. But, my whole design is more for Alias, and not just for her. Either way, I think she really does great on Alias, with the rest of the amazingly talented cast, and I think she made 13 Going on 30. If not for her, the movie would have sucked. I only gave it a B-, majorly based on her. We'll see how Elektra turns out.

I don't think Jennifer Garner is overrated. She's actually a pretty terrific actress, and seems genuinely sweet in real life. She just seems overexposed because Alias just came back and Elektra is coming out, so she's pretty much everywhere.
