Steven Spielberg won't let Universal release his movies on HD-DVD, and Paramount/DreamWorks won't be able to either. But when your getting paid $150m, I suppose it ain't such a bad decision. HD-DVD need it. They dropped below 40% last week in the war.

Re: Michael bay may not do TRANSFORMERS 2!! Fox announced a whole bunch of release like Live Free or Die Hard and Fantastic Four 2. Disney have a few movies coming at the end of the year and some classics coming out in 2008 and are currently has its Blu-Ray roadshow thing going around the US.

And if Sony really want to end this war, all they need to do is throw some money at Warner Bros, drop the price on the PS3 worldwide by Xmas and somehow market the PS3 as a blu-ray machine. its staggering the percentage of PS3 owners who don't know that they can buy blu-ray movies.

I hate PS3. Not interested at all. I love xbox 360 though and support HD DVD but i know it won't win the war unless TF & Shrek 3 togther creates record sales and helps in HD DVD passing BLU RAY. I am kinda sad though that MB won't do TF2.

Also paramount is hd dvd exclusive for only 18 months. After that period they can choose to join blu ray or stay exclusive to hd dvd.

Also, Universal has not been paid for choosing/staying exclusive with HD-DVD, so that's another kettle of fish.

I would prefer Paul ws. anderson since he is directing only one film for 2008 and most projects he is producing not directing. He could start shooting right after Death Race is done. If TF 2 is supposed to come 2009 then he is the guy to go because zack snyder is jumping into some zombie movie using 300 technology right after watchmen. Uwe Boll lolz he is the most hardworking director. very very busy guy.
