You don't think Schindler's List is a masterpiece?

#36: THE DEPARTED

Haven't seen it. But it seems too high.

The Departed even being in the top 100 makes me sick. Sorry. Just not
my kind of movie. Congrats to Marty and all, but I don't like this type of movie.

12 angry men is a timeless film.

I bet it will be popular 30 years from now.

Yes, Schindler's List is a masterpiece. I'll be pissed if it's not in the top 10 at
least.

Not even in my actual top 100 (some were missing from the 610 here). And The Departed beating it!? Well...I was thinking The Departed would be top 10, so thank god it's not.

Has the Departed become Scorsese's most well liked movie? It seems that way. That is kind of depressing, actually.

That's not depressing, The Departed is AWESOME.

Love the Die Hard, 12 Angry Men, Princess Bride and Memento mentions.

I am almost positive As Good as It Gets didn't make this list. I hate you people.

the acting, the storyline are just amazing and it also challenges your beliefs. Few films do this and it doesn't seem outdated because of the way it is filmed. It was filmed in one room apart for like 5 mins.

One trick pony bullshit.

I guess it's a blessing in disguise that it isn't in the top 20, at least.

Probably should be higher, but I'm very happy to see it in the top third

I'm starting to get worried that The Truman Show isn't going to make. That
will really make me mad.

Departed over Goodfellas? Interesting....
Good spot for Memento. I'm really glad to see the Princess Bride and 12 Angry Men.

The Departed is a good movie (yes, I've since upgraded my opinion of it to "good"), but with films like Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Casino, and Last Temptation in his oeuvre, it's sort of depressing.

I will never understand the love for this film. It's a propaganda piece, people. HELLO?!

I think it is a great film. It was on my list.

However, the one thing it is not is timeless. It is a movie of its time and becomes more dated each year that passes.

Timeless? It's a movie about a fair jury of peers called 12 Angry MEN about twelve MEN. Any such jury today woudl be unconstitutional

Great movie but to call it timeless is wrong
