Great. Only problem was that after waiting 18 years to make a movie, you'd think they'd go for something a little more memorable.

It's been 18 years, I think they kind of ran out of ideas like 10 years ago.

The Mr. Burns and Smithers moment in Burns' Mansion was probably what will stick with me the longest.

Overall a more enjoyable film than I had expected based on past Simpsons seasons. A-

It was a great great movie. Loved every minute of it. I want to see it again. One of the best of the year.

It was shortly after the credits started and it had Mr. Burns asking Smithers if he would commit suicide because Mr. Burns might find it funny.

'You know I don't believe in suicide, but would you do it Smithers? I think it would be funny to watch'

It's not exactly that, but it's along those lines. I'll have to see it again to get the exact wording down.

I loved, Tom Hanks. "Can I have osme of your Magic?"

Awesome movie, that captured everything that was great about the Simpsons, with awesome animation, laughs throughout, and an endearing story. Marges monologue on the video was probably one of the best dramatic moments of all time. In fact you can hear Julie Kavner more and less Marge, as the dialogue was being pushed, not the voice.

All and all, like Maggie said, I'd see a sequel anyday.

I think it was, that he didn't believe in suicide, but if Smither's tried it, he might give it a go

Definitely. It almost took me out of the moment.

This was the line: "Smithers, I don't believe in suicide, but if you could try it, it might be able to cheer me up." that I enjoyed.

Really funny for about 20 minutes. I was happy and surprised.

Then the lame plot kicked in. And the funny almost completely stopped. Furthermore, a Simpsons climax built entirely around Homer defying the laws of physics is not a good one.

And the perfect illustration of why The Simpsons is stinking: Comic Book Guy and Cletus, two one joke additions to the show whose roles took on greater importance right when the series began to stink, had more lines/scenes than just about every Supporting character. Mr. Burns had, what, two lines, one of which came during the credits? Are you kidding me?

Having Yosh on your side is akin to being Methodist or a Unitarian. Not the kind of info I'd share.

I'm taking any bones I can grab at this stage.

If I can get Roo and Squee as well I'll be content.

Actually, having yoshue on your side is akin to being correct!

Watching my brother spend the last few hours making Lucas-style apologies and justifications for the movie has been amusing. But he'll come around. He eventually did on those darn prequels.

I mostly concur, but then, I haven't come out of Pennsylvania yet.

Jimmy Stewart, though, did come from PA. He was pretty darn cool.

the movie has some very funny moments and will easily rank high in the other Simpson jokes. It was the best thing since the early seasons by far.

Gets quite stupid at points and then it become almost a monty patyon comedy from one minute to the next.

I give it a A-.

At points too slapstick gag oriented, but the first real emotion the series has seen in years. Also at most points hilarious. A-

The whole theatre got quiet for that part. And a little girl thought the song Close to You is new.

I stayed for the credits and man, they hired Oscar nominees/winners for their sound mixing, sound editing, and music branch!
