BTW, I think Dick Tracy is the best adaptation to film of a comic book ever. I feel like an idiot for forgetting to put it on my list. I probably should have written a list down first, so I wouldn't have missed it. Very very very good pick. I love Sooner or Later (I Always Get My Man). Its one of my top 100 songs on that list as we speak. I think the colors were incredible, and I remember hearing it was only shot in 7 colors, which is why it has that comic book type coloring to it. The characters were so fun (and yes, flat, just like in comic books) and Pacino went all out as Big Lips. The plot was good, the dialogue good, the cinematography and music good. Excellent pick Bryant.

Yep I made shure I wrote down every film i have ever given an A to  I added + signs to the films I liked most. My number 1 film of all time has 5 + signs and the rest of the top ten has 4. Than it just goes down from there.

Its been around 8-9 years since the last time I saw Dick Tracy but its definately one of my favorite films of all time, its also one of the reasons that I cant wait to see Sin City  Im glad you liked the choice, Theres around 50 good films that I have not seen before that are on other lists  Any way I should watch Dick Tracy again and refresh my mind wit hthe great film

-Take Care

Yaaaay - Tron. Haha, aren't they redoing it? The original is so fun. I forget how far technology in film has come, but if I had to pick a movie that would remind me, it would be Tron.

This is your best list yet. I love League of Their Own (guilty pleasure) Pirates, My Cousin Vinny, Star Wars, Jaws.

LIT was overrated though. I think the direction and acting were excellent, but the story itself wasa just your typical old guy has mid-life crisis and finds solace with a girl half his age bit.

Yeah, dolce, and what's wrong with that? LIT had the direction, screenplay, and acting to make the story feel a bit more realistic and involving. I, for one, loved it. 'Twas my favorite movie in 2003, and I've never gotten sick of watching it. I've probably watched it 7 or so times.

I said overrated, not bad. I would give it a B, which is still descent, I just didn't fall head over heels for it because I've seen so many of that type movie. Its much better than say, L'Ultimo Baccio (The Last Kiss) but not as interesting as Divorce Italian Style, which just uses that premesis as a srpingboard rather than the end point.

I can't help myself then. Maybe it's another symptome of Scarlett [Johannson] Fever. She's just THAT hot.

Look at the below picture:
Image

Can you honestly tell me that these looks, combined with her quiet style in which she develops her character as an ACTUAL being (unlike Reese Witherspoon (just as shexy), who you can kinda tell is acting and isn't REALLY the character as it doesn't come as natural), don't compensate for the actual story? Come...ON! The film itself might be slightly overrated, but it's so sweet and touching (Even though they don't even end up marrying and what not) and the ending is done so well!

Very good too. I'm getting a better sense of your taste, but man BJ, you're all over the place. Most people I know that like Catch Me and GONY, and the Professional, do not like Grease at all! I like Grease. Its grown on me, so I think this list is great.
