You can still count the Sopranos if you wish

From top to bottom

Entourage
Curb your Enthusiasm
Extras
Sopranos
Big Love- very interesting show
John From Cincinatti (Watched the premier and felt so so about it)

Never got into Deadwood or Rome yet

Entourage is the only one I watch. Looooooooooooove.

I've sort of always wanted to watch Big Love, though. I'll start eventually maybe.

Ditto, love Entourage

How about we add showtime to the mix:

Weeds and Dexter are great shows

In order of greatness:
1. Extras
2. Entourage
3. Deadwood

Those are the only three I watch from HBO.

I'm meh about John from Cincinatti. Maybe it'll grow on me like Deadwood?

Somehow, it just seems odd going from Larry Sanders to Fraggle Rock to Mr. Show. Might just be me.

Between HBO and Showtime, I watch(ed) The Sopranos, Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Extras, Tales from the Crypt, Entourage, Six Feet Under, Big Love, Weeds, Dexter, and Masters of Horror.

Excluding Horrors, I would say every show listed is top notch TV.

The shows I've seen from top to bottom:

Six Feet Under
The Sopranos (haven't seen the last season though)
Entourage (still need to se season 3)
Curb Your Enthusiam (have a few seasons to catch up on)

I want to eventually catch Extras, Big Love, and Rome, but with Dexter and Weeds to watch, I don't think I'll have the time.

What about Rome and The Tudors? What are they like? I'm interested in them, but at the same time, I have enough to watch. They'd have to be really good.

Same for John from Cincinnatti. Anyone watch it on Sunday?

Why are people including Dexter, Big Love and Weeds when they are shown on Showtime?
As for HBO shows, I missed the first few seasons of Sopranos so it was hard for me to jump in the middle of the next season to watch them. The great HBO shows that I use to watch or currently watching are Tales from the Crypt, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Deadwood, Carnivale, Rome, Extras.

Showtime shows I like include Dead Like Me, Dexter, and Sleeper Cell. On occasions Masters of Horror depending on which episodes

Oh, I must have overlooked the "current" part. I guess Six Feet Under would be off the list then.

That would be why. Someone did it, and everyone else followed suit.

First season of Sleeper Cell was great, 2nd? not so good.

As far as not current HBO shows, Six Feet Under was a part of our lives, that was art (mostly).

Dream On, that brings back memories, but come on, no one believes that writers have sex that much.

Dexter beats any show HBO has made in the last 8 years.

On that note, I thoroughly enjoy Entourage as well as Real Time with Bill Maher.

Sex and the City and especially Six Feet Under are two of my all-time favorite shows.

On their current schedule though I'm currently addicted to Entourage and Big Love.

Entourage is the best show HBO has ever made. The first season of Deadwood is number two, after that the show went down hill, very fast.

1. Entourage
2. The Sopranos
3. Big Love
4. Deadwood
5. Rome
6. Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The only HBO shows that I currently watch weekly are Extras, which I thought was the best show on TV last season, and Big Love, whose Monday premiere I thought was a little dull. (Anyone else watch?)

I've watched the first three seasons of The Sopranos, and while I think the show is masterfully crafted, I still don't know if I'd say that I've ever taken to the show (like I did with Six Feet Under). It's a hard to put a lot of emotional investment in it, I think. I don't think I'll be running through the remaining seasons. I respect the show, but now, with the series having come to a close, I realize it's just not for me.

Same with Deadwood, whose first season I admired but was often bored with.

I'm working my way through Entourage right now. It's enjoyable, but I don't love it yet.

And I just started The Wire. Only seen the pilot.
