I like your list, Kypade. Ignore teh others.
Goodfellas, The Truman Show, 40 Days and 40 Nights, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and The Wizard of Oz are all good movies.
On the second list, I like the inclusion of most of the films, though I've never seen The Bridge on the River Kwai or Touch of Evil. You're the first one to include Wonder Boys!

I would of loved it if Back to the Futures list threw us a twist instead of #1 being Back to the Future, BTTF2 was #1 instead

I am liking your list soo much already. Bolded are ones in particular that I like. Fellow Conversation fan, there are so few of us who recognized this gem. It got dwarfed by other productions that year but I love this one as much if not better than all of those.
Jackie Brown = Best Tarantino movie
Who framed Roger Rabbit is divine, really it is. One of the few movies I used to own.
Boyz n the Hood was a very powerful movie, but did not resonate with me quite as much as some otherones. Mostly because of Fishburne's slightly preachy role-model, and the fact that female urban youth were almost completely non-existant with the exception of peaceable girlfriends. Still a very very very good movie.
I could never get into West Side Story :x
I also must be the only person in the world that didn't care for GhostWorld. she was just so obnoxious that I wanted her to take some anti-depressants like the rest of America and just get on with her life.

Nice on Sweet Hereafter. Have you seen any other Egoyam movies or flipped through the book he did? He's bordering in film genious. I started a whole thread just on him awhile back. http://worldofkj.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2325

I rewatched Willy Wonka about ten years after the last time I'd seen it, and have to say, it is a serieriously creepy and dark movie. I like it, but am so surprised that I didn't pick up on the tone when I was younger.
