Tell it, that jazz scene actually made me cringe in embarrassment, I mean please, someone tell me what the fuck was that shit?

Come on sweetie.. Perhaps overexagerrating a tad bit, wouldn't you say??? That scene was necessary and was just fine..

I am dead serious when I say that scene was horrible, I actually had a hard time watching. Korrgan is right it was umcomfortable and embarrassing. That was the scene when this movie jumped the shark.

Just bringing Gwen to the club would have made MJ jealous, it was just wierd, if I were Gwen I woudl have lefted cause that shit creeped me the fuck out. It jsut struck me as so bizarre, like so many parts of the film.

There are some great parts to this movie, but then there are parts were I wonder if Raimi was high when he wrote this shit. This film just didn't work for me at all.

I was bored for the first half, and the second half I repeatedly thought WTF. The action scenes were good, but the effects were not as good as I expected given comments I read here. They were pretty fucking shoddy

I loved Spiderman since I was a kid, but this film was a colossal disappointment for me. I've seen 4 movies this year, The Hitcher, Babel, 300, and Spiderma 3, and I honestly think Spiderman 3 was the worst.

I should have listened to Loyal, his review is right, this film was a train wreck.
Plot wise we are still treading the same ground as last time, they should have dealt with Harry in the last film, b/c by this one I was fucking tired of him. MJ and Peter, I honestly didn't care after the Jazz scene, Gwen, why is she here. Eddie, "I like being bad." gag me with a spoon. The Sandman, what a boring villian, if he even was that.

Sure, Bruce Campbell was awesome, but I spent most of the second wondering when the hell it was going to end.

I wanted to see it on Imax, but its not playing in Imax any closer then 45 minutes away, plus I am not giving anymore money towards that craptacular film.

It was SHIT! Absolute SHIT! The series just went downhill from the first.

Emo Peter was no lie, my favorite part of the film. I had fun in that sequence, and I think Raimi did too. I guess that speaks measures towards the film's quality though.

I actually agree. I had no problems with the funky walk or the dance sequence. Maybe it's because I'd been prepared for it beforehand, but I genuinely enjoyed it.

I genuinely think this is the best Spidey yet.

Every time I think about it I want to name it the worst movie I've ever seen.

And to think I was once VERY EXCITED to see it.

I hate you Sam Raimi.

I like my Spidey without eyeliner, and far less irritating.

Hahaha reminds me of my favorite line from the movie from Topher:

"I like being bad. It makes me feel good."

He nails that line incredibly!!

I just got back from the IMAX 1:00 PM showing for my 4th time and it was once again FANTASTIC and everything right down to the Jazz club scene worked perfectly fine within the context of the story and why?? Cause it felt REAL and looked and felt like a real relationship, how a seasoned releationship would be.. It's quite simple why Peter did what he did: He was wearing the blacksuit when he took Gwen to the Jazz Club to make MJ jealous was done so out of ARROGANCE.. Get it folks?? Peter went from plain dork nerd teen we saw in the first 2 movies to a dork nerd with the total arrogant asshole attitude cause of the Symbiote and it worked just fine.. shame you didn't understand this Ripper, but it worked.. The dance scene was well done and showed a cockiness to the charactrer we needed to see and also, his aggressiveness with The SANDMAN in the subway tunnel fight was also intense and showed that Raimi did his homework when making this movie and you folks simply just didn't get IT.. For the 4th time, this get's an "A" and I look forward to trhe SPECIAL EDITION of this movie or a DIRECTOR'S CUT with all the scenes incoporated back into the movie to even further flesh out the characters of VENOM and SANDMAN.. I say bring on the 4th movie NOW with LIZARDMAN..

The jazz club seriously reminded me of The Mask. Except The Mask played it for laughs and had Diaz at her hottest.

That was the lowest point of the film for me. But I did like the drama when he hit MJ. That would have worked better without all the EMO stuff.

The Emo stuff worked within the context of the story.. There wasn't anything wrong with it and at this point, I think this movie has been debated to death..

You know I liked the film. I only really had major problems with the Jazz club and Butler scenes. The EMO Parker walkin the streets I didnt mind at all actually. If anything Im just looking forward to Raimi's exctended version.

i just watched it again and still give it a solid B. However, the replay value was awful. Was not very fun to watch a second time. I was hoping now that my expectations were lower i'd enjoy it more but nope.

The part were he hit MJ worked, but yes that was the exact problem with the jazz scene, it just didn't fit, but that's really the problem, the film seemed to be unsure what it wanted to be, what it wanted it characters to do etc.

Its plays like the first draft of a screenplay from Frosh year of film school.

I saw the movie again today and I still had many problems with it, but they were much easier to overlook, without those gigantic expectations I had the first time. B

Yikes, that's sure a chore to sit through. What's up with all the multiple triangle relationships? It is so melodramatic that I was scratching my head wondering if I was watching a super-hero movie. There were many WTF moments too, like the scene in the Jazz club. Almost the entire plot felt so forced, and for two hours, it didn't go anywhere. Amnesia? How convenient. Changing one's mind so quickly just because of one sentence from your servant? Acceptable for Shrek, not here. Having a national flag on the background when Spider-Man flew through N.Y? My goodness. The first action scene between Parker and Harry wasn't really well edited, but the last one was great. Still, it's a far cry from the first two films in the series. C-.

Oh, and forgot to mention that even though the last 2-on-2 fight was great, having people cheering and TV crew reporting were just too much. And the multiple endings.
