My father was in the oil industry. There was a huge refinery there and a big community of people from all over. A very international place but also very middle class. It wasn't a bunch of rich kids.

Ugh, I can't believe I read that spoiler. Still, I doubt it's anywhere near that simple. I'm thinking it's closer to "giant conspiracy" than "purgatory crap".

I actually kind of want Lost to full-on embrace the sci-fi and mystical other worldly aspect of the island. For my money the only sub-par point for the series was the beginning of S3 when they tried to explain everything, and focused on The Others without any mystery or allure to them.

So, this is going to be the biggest test of will power.

Last week I promised myself I would not even look at the mildest spoilers for Lost from now on because I know for a fact I wouldn't be as into it if I knew all the details but I almost can't resist to highlight that white text.

What if the people taken by the Others were the only ones who actually survived the crash.

I'm not saying that the Lostaways are currently dead, zombies or ghosts, but what if the ISLAND actually brought them back to life.

Would explain a number of things including use of certain people's legs and lack of cancer.

So the Losties have super sperm and Kate is also possibly pregnant.

Was that why the Others put Kate and Sawyer in cages a few feet apart, while Jack goes into a completley seperate underground room? If they'd been tracking the Losties, maybe Ben had wanted this the whole time, for Jack to intervene, for them to escape, for Juliet to infiltrate, and so on.

Juliet's "I hate you" was great. Elizabeth Mitchell continues to rock.
