He met Mandy in Season 4 so he knows who she is. I am sure he found out that she tried to kill Palmer and that she is an assassin, the only problem I have is I don't think Jack would hope in the car with her if he knows her background.

I don't watch 24, but I'll place a bet on the President or someone yet to "die" this season.

I think we can rule anyone out who Jack killed himself, as it'd be pretty hard to fake your own death if Jack killed you. So that eliminates Henderson and Nina. I would love for it to be David or Tony, as those are the two who's deaths were kinda left up in the air, but I can just see it being Philip or something and letting us all down. More than likely, it'll be a character who hasn't died but hasn't been on the show since season three or something. Could be Chase.

That's true. But how unrealistic would it be for the ghost of David Palmer or the ghost of Tony to come back from the dead to pick Jack up. As fucking cool as that would be, how the hell would either of them have faked their own death?
I think it'll be Philip, but it'll only be shocking in the context of what's happening in that final episode. Without any idea of what's going on, those lines are only surprising if it's a dead character, but if the character just assassinated the president, for instance, it'll be pretty fucking shocking if it's Jack's dad.
This reminds me of last season, actually, when the spoiler came out about some character returning at the end, and then I was disappointed when it was 'only' the Chinese.

Well, it'd certainly be a fitting capper to this season to bring back a dead character. Vampire Jack leads to psycho VP leads to autistic hacker leads to zombie Tony?

Jack is in shock! I assume it's going to be someone he thought was dead. This would leave out Chase and Phillip. No one cared about Chase when he was on the show (which is why he was canned to begin with), so I don't see how his appearance would be eventful. Plus, he ditched "daddy's little nightmare" like a piece of yesterdays carrion. Doubt Jack would be too thrilled to get in a car with him.
Bringing back Edgar as the huge surprise would be stomach churning lame. He's not important enough for a major plot to revolve around. In addition, his constant sweating annoyed the hell out of me of HD. Take a shower dude!
You're not thinking people. It's definately going to be Teri Bauer.
But, not really. Jack will later discover that Teri had a twin sister who worked for CTU: London. A perfect cornball ending to this corny season.

I defintely doubt that, if anybody dead comes back from a previous season it will be Tony. Unless it is somebody we though died between hour 18-23.

Not sure how I missed this...
This makes me even more sure that Philip will be the one picking up Jack right at the end of the season. Everyone will think he's dead, so it'll be shocking when he's not.
Looks like the craziness is just gonna increase this season.

I also don't see Jack getting in the car with him after all he had done, unless it is to kill him.

Well the Palmer part makes sense. If it was all a ploy I can see why he did it now. I don't get the rest of it though. Unless they get some information from Fayid that way.

That reminds me of the Robot Chicken with M. Night Shyamalan.
WHAT A TWIST.

I'd like to believe that Tony is the returning cast member at the end of this season. His "death" was just so... lame, and unfair. I want him to come back, NOW.
He's the only dead person I could see coming back. Michelle, David, EDGAR (as HILARIOUS as that would be to hear him say that line), and others seem unlikely.
It could be Audrey, though, right?

POTENTIAL MAJOR SPOILER
Supposedly, tonight's episode will mark the return of Cheng and Audrey.

This lists the cast for tonight's episode: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0933902/
So, yeah, Audrey's back tonight. And on the Yahoo! TV preview, it says: "The administration resumes an offensive approach; Jack and Fayed come face to face; a shocking development." So, yeah, it makes sense.
Also, if you jump to the final episode on IMDB, it has Philip Bauer listed. He's not listed for the previous episode, so...

IMDb's not exactly the greatest resource for spoilers. I remember when they had Samuel L. Jackson listed as playing Bernard on Lost. But Phillip will be back at the end, per Loyal's spoiler above.

I still laugh when I remember they had Leslie Hope (Teri) listed as the elusive "Aunt Carol" in Season 2 lol.

loyalfromlondon wrote: No, apparently the Audrey story ends before the finale. I'm nearing certainty that it's Tony.
I am hoping that will be the case. Not sure who else would be a shock. It won't be Palmer because he is on the Unit. I rule out anybody Jack shot: Nina and Chappelle. I think Jack Walsh would be too obscure. Mason is just crazy. Kim wouldn't call her dad, Jack .That leaves, IMO Tony, Michelle, Sherry, Mandy and Chase. I think Sherry is the least likely because not sure how her character would work without Palmer. I am also not sue if Chase would be shocking.
