I'd say the principals are basically JD, Elliot, Turk, Dr. Cox and, at a stretch, Kelso.
That leaves:
Laverne
The Todd
Ted
Doug
The Janitor
Jordan
It's unlikely to be Todd, Ted, The Janitor or Doug, because their characters are either too one-note to be an impactful death or too important to the show.
That leaves Jordan and Laverne... of the two I'd prefer it to be Laverne, but I think Jordan's the more likely candidate at the moment.

I don't know; it struck me that Jordan might be too important of a character to get killed off.
And I also love her and just don't want that.
I'd go with Laverne, as well.

Yeah, big improvement over last week.
JD's soul-searching unicorn Justin? Hilarious.

Carla, I want you to pretend like your uterus is like a tube of toothpaste, and you're trying to squeeeeeze out all that minty fresh gel, but instead of minty fresh gel inside, it's a little black baby.

I'm still not thrilled with this season. The second episode was really good, but the rest just seem to be missing something. I'm anxiously awaiting the musical episode, though.

I still think the Carla giving birth episode was best this season. But this is second.
Was it just me or did Keith look completely different?

It's his hair or something.

Last night's episode was the first episode this season that felt... classic Scrubs to me.

Rumors are flying that NBC is pleased with Scrubs' performance this season and that Zach Braff may be willing to stay on another year, so...
A seventh season is a possibility.
In fact, Ausiello from TV Guide reports that Bill Lawrence told him that "Scrubs will be back for a seventh and final season on either NBC or ABC" and that Touchstone has told them NOT to write a finale for this season.
I'm so very happy.

Apparently the musical episode "rejuvenated the whole cast," or something like that. Coupled with the Globe and Emmy nom love he's received, Braff's now not against a seventh season.

The musical definitely worked. I think what it was lacking, though, was more janitor. He only got in on the songs like once.

The last two episodes were good, funny wise. But the politics was rather annoying in His Story part whatever and Kim lying to JD is just too stereotypical TV.

Ausiello said it's a female and that it's not Jordan. Pretty much leaves Laverne. Unless there's someone else that we really wouldn't expect. It's probably Kelso's wife. She's never actually been on the show, but she's been in existence on the show since the first season.

Heh. Actually a good guess. I guess it is true that although she's not a major character, Enid's been there since season one. Just seems to me, though, that they'll have pulled a fast one on us if that happens.
I'm still thinking Laverne, even though I don't want it to be.
These past two episodes have been good, but there's still definitely some rhythm that's been missing from the show this season.

Laverne died tonight -- and it was heartbreaking.
Scrubs can do tragedy just about as well as any show on TV.

And it was a great episode. I think they should've moved it closer to Carla's child being born instead of Jordan's, but I can see how that would've been overly depressing.
It was still a fantastic show though.
