How did this become a hit. The same fuckwits that made LOST a hit I guess.

But seriously. The pilot made me want to throw things at the TV. How can anybody watch this? This outrates 24 now. How sad? What so good about a serialized average-Joe-cum-4400-rip-off. I mean good on Ali Larter for finding a decent money maker for her.

Heroes is nowhere near as overated as Lost. For one thing they dont emphasize their episodes entirely of flashback and promoting the whole show under false dramatic climaxes only to have the show consist of 75% of flashback moments on their mundane lives. Worst of all Jack's life is boring as hell in Lost, hell 70% of the characters in that show arent very likable at all. With Heroes the characters are at least likable in their own silly way, the premiere was alright but the show got better with each episode. I too at one time placed it under the 4400 rip off category and in the end Heroes was able to break out of that shell

i try to watch it every week and every week it's crap.

I hate the little subtitles they put every second.
I hate the storylines. Just give me the action!!
I hate the actors. They are too young and not believable.
I hate the special effects. Can they be any cheaper?

Action can be many different things. To me, the show has plenty of action. But if you're looking for the movie type of action, rent "Spiderman".



Something tells me that the show would be even less believable with James Cromwell, Bea Arthur, and Loretta Swit in the lead roles.

Who's asking you to "waste your bandwidth" on Heroes? Did you at least bother to watch more than the pilot. More often than not, the pilot of a series is one of the weakest episodes overall. Even I wasn't blown away after my first viewing of the pilot. After four times, I ended up loving it.

Heroes sort of improved over the 1st part of the season but seriously, its terribly overrated. Waaay worse than Lost season 1 but better than any lost episode after that. But really, 4400 is far superior (if you can get past season 1). I don't understand the love. Perhaps people like superheroes and Heroes is on a major network.

I'd say the same thing about Grey's Anatomy.

Ellen Pompeo is one whiny bitch and I can't really be bothered turning on a show made up of frivolous drama about her and her shitty friends' lives intercut with musical montages of her looking concerned or moody when i have SHOCKING SUPERMARKET HOLDUPS in Desperate Housewives.

I'll gladly say GA is crap, IMHO (so Libs doesn't wish me dead). I was going to try it again this week, but I decided against it. When I did watch it, it just felt like "Our show is awesome, ratings prove that. You love it, we know you love it, because the show is awesome.". Now since Will & Grace have I felt this way about a show.

I hate to say it but i kind of feel that way about 24 too. As if its popularity is what speaks to me when i watch the show rather than its quality. I'm not saying it's another Grey's Anatomy because 24 is a much smarter show and I can see where it's appeal lies. But I did feel like they left a lot of the heavy lifting on 24 to the loyalty of its fanbase lately.

Grey's Anatomy's appeal? Well thats still a mystery to me. I'd much rather watch a now-predictable (YET OH SO UNPREDICTABLE) action thriller for an hour than I would watch a group of women go through boring trials and tribulations i've seen a hundred times in different shows. Just because it's in a hospital doesn't mean I care any more for the characters or the story damnit!

Here's what I think...

Heroes is probably the biggest load of crap I have ever witnessed... It jumped the shark at about... episode 2... Every commercial I see for it is ridiculous, it makes the show look like a joke. It's a rich person's version of 4400, rich people that have bad taste. I mean... they used subtitles for when that guy gulped... Seriously?

Grey's Anatomy is the gay version of E.R. It's a glorified soap opera with big faces.

24 probably jumped the shark... but I haven't watched any of this or last season... but before that it was amazing.

Lost jumped the shark in season 2... but then it redeemed itself... so it still has a chance.

Scrubs and The Office are the BEST shows on TV right now.

I have no time for SCRUBS and THE OFFICE. I wait for DVD. Season 5 of SCRUBS is terrible though.

Go to hell bitch. I watch the show just for Meredith Grey. Seriously Emily Pompeo is so good in that role. People envy her thats why they hate her.
