President's Day weekend looks like one of those rare times when every movie released will do at least somewhat well. I could be wrong.

Ill just do weekends and not totals
Feb. 2-4
Because I Said So - 11.0 million
The Messengers - 8.0
Feb. 9-11
Hannibal Rising - 13
Norbit - 28
Feb. 16-19(4 day)
Breach - 12.0
Bridge to Terabithia - 18.0
Ghost Rider-27 (I somehow feel this one will disappoint since the yahoo buzz tracking isnt as high as I expected, I mean it
should have been in the charts since december considering its a comic book movie and its imdb buzz isnt too high either)
Music and Lyrics-20.0 (didnt even know what it was till a week ago, I think it will probably pull in the nostalgic folks who enjoy Wedding Singer, BTW is like VH1 promoting the movie?)
Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls -16.0
Feb. 23-25
The Abandoned - 7.0
The Astronaut Farmer - 8
Black Snake Moan - 8
The Number 23 - 16.5
Reno 911!: Miami - 18.5

Other than the R-rating, I don't see why The Number 23 would open less than, say, Secret Window.

Jim Carrey's name sells comedies, not drama or thrillers.Look at Majestic and Man on the Moon. The Truman show is debatable since the trailer sold it like a Carrey comedy.

Yeah.
I also don't think the premise is terribly appealing to a mainstream audience, and Carrey's starpower has dwindled some of late. I would be surprised if The Number 23 made more than $60-65M, probably not even that much.

I think Norbit is going to be huge. The ads have actually been pretty good, and it has a famous black comedian dressing up as a fat woman.. what can go wrong?
$34M opening
$115M total
Also, Tyler Perry is going to beat Ghostrider, Bridge To Terabithia is going to have fantastic legs after a modest opening (think Holes, and Reno: 911 is going to beat The Number 23.
