Scroll down to the 1st pic.. I don't see how anyone could say that BATMAN BEGINS is more deserving in it's hype over ROTS??? This pic alone looks better than anything WB has thrown at us with this new Batman..

Totaly Star Wars Episode III - The Reveng of the Sith 8) I personaly think both films will top 300m and maybe even 400m. My feeling is if drek like shrek 2 can make such a killing at the box office like it did than why cant the final Star Wars film and the first Batman film in 8 years. So forget that 300m I said earlyer 400m for both easy Remember 3 film passed 350m this year 8) I cant explain why I choose star wars over batman I just do 8)

Well, I'll agree with you up to the point where you throw the 1st BATMAN film in in 8 years... I just don't think BATMAN BEGINS will even come close to topping 300 or 400 Million like a well known title like Star Wars.. Star Wars in general has more of a casual appeal then Batman does or will..

Batman isn't even ahead of the Fantastic Four for me, because even though he's one of the two or three DC characters that aren't boring as helll, DC SUCKS!, and Warner Bros. is not very good at handling franchises. Lethal Weapon might be about the only thing they put out that continuously pleased, as the Matrix, Batman, Superman, and Harry Potter(which I've personally liked, but there's no doubt that they dropped the ball on what should have been Spider-Man like at the box office domestically) have not lived up to what they could have been. I don't expect greatness from the latest Batman effort, as the costume and Batmobile have already soured me some.
Star Wars EP III is the last of the Star Wars movies, and the movie that I've been waiting for. It will rule! It will bury any final chapter of a trilogy that has come before it! 8)

I was reading just recently about how FOX is worried about "The Incredibles" upstaging "The Fantastic Four" when it comes to the FX and now FOX has ordered and signed another check for 20 Million to be added onto the 100 Million they already have invested in The FF4 so that it won't be upstaged.. See?? I knew the budget for FF4 was too goddamn cheesy to be taken seriously.. To do this right, there gonna have to spend some serious $$$$ and not go the cheap, Roger Corman way..

I'm glad they did too. Fox has been a little cheap on the budgets of the first X-Men and Daredevil too. These big FX films have to be respected for their visuals. F4 needs attention paid to that department more than those films, so it was a wise choice to up the cost some. They'll probably double that investment in the long run at least.

DC hater huh? I never really collect DC comics either. The ones I use to collect when I was a kid were mainly Marvel like the West Coast Avengers, New Mutants, X-Men, X-factor etc. If we are talking about movies in general, in my opinion DC did a much better job with Superman and Batman when compared with X-men or Spiderman. DC movies hold the edge because it deals with the protanganist interaction with their peers and normal people. X-men surely lacked that and never really got to any of the superheroes background. The first Spiderman too and it wasnt until the second Spiderman that we knew more about Peter Parker

I used to be the Marvel collector in my family. Brilliant comics.
But i disagree with what you said about them not havign depth into the characters background, that is bollocks, they have as much depth as DC films do.
One thing is, Superhero films are meant to be about effects, storyline and ACTION!!!!

If you want all action you might and no substance for a comic book, you might as well watch Red Sonja or *drumroll* JUDGE DREDD with Stallone . I had to get that out of my chest.
Another problem with the Marvel movies is they deviate too much from the comicbook. I dont remember Rogue being a teenager in the comicbooks but they sure have her that way in the movies. Mary Jane wasnt introduced to Peter Parker until he was in college and the Hulk's dad died when Bruce Banner was little so he barely knew his own dad. Its stuff like these that make me nitpicky about those movies

That was the film makers view on it, nothing to do with Marvel.

This is begin's biggest problem .. convincing people not to judge it based upon the last installment ....
hell, i say not to judge it on any of the last 5 batman movies or tv shows.
The problem is that unless one considers TAS or bruce wayne's character in batman beyond or even the justice league, the only main exposure people have gotten on batman is the 1966 series, and the 5 movies.
while the tv series was good on in its campy ways and the style of batman during those days, all of these have portrayed batman universe as something goofy, over the top and batman himself either a loony detective or secondary all together. most people know this already that i hate the 1989 batman movie ... just terrible ... hell .. i even garnered mroe respect for batman forever cause it as bad as it was, it was still able to concentrate on bruce and batman a bit and even show the darkness inside him .....
bkb, 1989 batman only showed the deaths of his parents and nothing much beyond that.. which i guess is fine as long as you could forward it up with a good movie ..... the only thing i cared about in that movie was the batmobile.

While I expect ROTS to do realy well box office wise, no one thought AOTC was top out at under 300 million, yet it did. So the Star Wars name dos enot guarantee 400 million, but being what is supposed tobe the last SW films I think the fans, even those like me who are disappointed will come out in droves. The real question is will ROTS see drops closer to AOTC or closer to TPM.

You seem to think thats a problem. How come my examples of changing Bond actors never affected the franchise. I never seen anyone being reminded of License to Kill after Brosnan took over Bond. As I said, new director and new actors rehauls the whole perspective of the movie. Now if Batman Begins would of still had Schumacer directing and Clooney as Batman, it would of bombed. Why do you think that after Batman Returns didnt do as well, they had a rehaul in actor and director. Rehauling a series and changing an actor and director gives the movie new life

because it seems like you missed the rest of what i said ....
bond degraded in quality or it changed or whatever ... never been a bond fan so ... whatever ..... but atleast people knew what bond was meant to be ...
Batman has always been portrayed differently from how the comics are "now". Its always had a camp element, over the top villains and what not. the whole premise and the entire movie is loony and cept for the first one , it seems like the actors and actresses are just trying to have fun ...
a lot of people are judging it upon that ....

I'm sorry but your wrong.. AOTC did not top out under 300 Million.. It made 310 Million domestically and while that may be lower than what MENACE took in, it did so with Mixed Reviews which does guarantee EPISODE III making 300 Million at the very least just on that alone.. Whether you folks like it or not or anyone in the internet world bent on bashing these movies like Ahmed, they are for the most part CRITIC PROOF and that is a tremendous advantage for EPISODE III... This movie will make well over 200 Million in 7-10 days alone and that I've seen some posters predict that's all it'll make period and that's just ...
