They soooooooooo made it clear that it's no coincidence Syler looks like Clark Kent. The glasses, hair, and the kryptonite statue he hit Bryon Davis with.

Oh wow what a great episode, one of the best of the series so far if not the best. Syler's arc was just perfect, the anti Clark Kent, heh. Hiro and Charlie was great and entertaining, Nathan and Peter and the whole thing with the car was great, the cop and his donuts, Claire's dad who is getting higher and higher on my rankings scale every week, and no Mohinder! Perfect episode.

Oh man it doesn't matter what they do, Niki just can't get interesting. So now her power is that she's posessed? Please please please let her get killed next episode, I've never been a big Ali Larter fan but she's the equivalent of one of those gross mutated apendages that some people are accidentally born with. They need to cut her off.

But yeah, it was a pretty good episode, although it was pretty clear some characters needed the "6 month ago" a whole lot less then others. I really liked Sylar, and I love the idea of him being an evil Superman. I'm also a big fan of Mohinder's father, I wish he hadn't been killed from the beginning of the show on.

What Moviedude said.

Despite Niki, I still love this show. Has become my favorite on all of TV (thought hat may change when Entourage re-starts).

Currently:

1 - Heroes
2 - Entourage
3 - Lost
4 - Greys Anatomy
5 - The Office

I'd say it's an accomplishment to have so many heroes and only one or two duds.

It doesn't? Are we talking quality or continuity?

Okay... I think I've got it all figured out. Peter Petrelli's going to be the most powerful superhero of them all.

Peter Petrelli can use other people's powers when he's in their direct vicinity, right? So my bet is that he's the only one who can kill Sylar. And he'll do it the exact same way Sylar's killed all the other heroes, by slicing off the top of his skull and stealing his powers - thus making him the most powerful superbeing who's ever lived.

Conversely to Sylar, who seems to work by the Highlander philosophy of "there can be only one", Peter will then get all the other heroes together as a justice league, dedicated to protecting the weak and the innocent.

Finally saw it, very fun episode. I loved how they did Sylar, but I didn't get a Clark Kent vibe, I saw him as slightly similar in looks, personality and story arc to the young voldemort in the most recent potter book. Not a direct copy but a dose of young voldemort mixed in with some original stuff. I don't look down on them for that, at least they were influenced from something good and every entertainer steals a few little things here or there.

I wasn't exactly sure what his power was, he could look into that guy and see he was "broken"? Damaged soul somehow I guess? He can see people's souls?

Finally caught the recent episode and it was great as usual. I loved Sylar's introduction.

Did anyone catch the Back to the Future reference from Hiro? That was awesome.

Glad to see a character from "24" have a big role on "Heroes". The guy who plays Sylar played Adam, the guy who gave Kim a hard time at CTU, during the show's third year.

Alright, so I just finished watching the first 10 episodes on iTunes and I'm quite hooked now. ;)

Poor Claire. I think having almost everyone I know's memory erased/becoming Stepford-ized would be the worst thing of all time, for me at least.

No new episode until January 22

What the flipping heck! That is way too long! 24 will have already premiered by then! Argh!

So I guess Eden's dead? I'm assuming she killed herself to prevent Syler from eating her brain or whatever he does

And I didn't understand Peter's vision but whatever

I thought Eden was going to be the one to die. She was kind of stupid really trying that without the Hatian there. And to me HRG is evil, I think Claire is going to hate him now. I wonder why the Hatian decided to tell Claire everything? About Peter's dream. I think he is having a crisis moment. He doesn't think he can control his abilities which leads to his coma. I think he had that dream because he think he will fail and be responsible for the bomb. I don't think Peter can see into the future, so I think it is more of a crisis in his mind. I hate having to wait till Janurary to see where it goes from here. It also looks like most of the major characters should be intereacting with each other now. Issac and Hiro have met. You have to figure Mohandier will be in contact with the three of them soon. Not sure what will happen with Peter now. I think Matt and the FBI Agent will be more involved too because of HRG and Sylar.

I suddenly have this wild vision of why it's "Save the cheerleader, save the world."

In the future Claire is set to have Peter's baby, and that child will be the saviour of the world, the greatest hero of all or just a regular hero who is in the right place at the right time to save everyone. Terminator-style, she needs to live for the hope to exist.

So, this is the first episode I have actually watched on TV after catching up on the previous 10 (courtesy of iTunes and might I say much more superior to watching it on TV).

This might have been one of the best episodes this season of any show. I don't know how they did it but they managed to get in all the Heroes and develop almost all of their storylines by a considerable amount. The cliffhanger was totally off the hook. I like how they had a small cliffhanger for almost every one of the main storylines.

I have to say, though, that I am SOOOOO depressed that Zack (I think that's his name, Claire's friend got his memory eraced. He was like my favorite character  I know it's sad, but whatever. I just CAN'T get over it. That was like my favorite storyline.

Anyway... since I watched the previous 10 episodes on my own time (And since I don't watch anything on nbc) I really had no media news feed about any spoilers or even any commercials for upcoming episodes. And I loved it. As soon as I finished the 10th episode I came in here and saw people were already talking about the leak about someone dying in this episode. And I don't want this to turn into another Lost... so I think I'm going to try to remain as spoiler-free for Heroes as possible.

Once they start on January 22, there will be 18 weeks left in the season. I'm assuming they'll probably bump up the episode count to 23-24 like they did with Lost its first 2 seasons... which means we will still have to endure around 6-7 weeks of repeats somewhere along the way.

Raffiki,

NBC went to the shows creators and asked for an additional 3 episodes on top of whatever was originally picked up.

Oh cool. Thanks

I'm assuming that they're planning on 24, the 24th being a 2 hour finale.... which still leaved about 5-6 repeats. If it does indeed get bigger and if they don't show any repeats, it could sneak into the top 12 shows of the season probably.

Tonight's episode should have pulled in their biggest numbers yet.

I just hope they move it out of this terrible time-slot next year. They are going up against MNF, and MNF has a 30min jump on them.

Heroes does great in the 18-39 demo, but would do much better if they wern't going up against a show that owns the same demo!

I hope they move it to Tuesdays next year.

I'd say it would be a stupid decision not to move it at this point. They already have DOND on mondays delivering the best ratings of the entire network. They can't afford to have Heroes solidify a night for them. They need it to anchor another night in need of resurrection.

Tuesdays doesn;t sounds bad.

They already announced it would be staying on Monday at 9 for the rest of the first season.

Is it solid enough of a hit yet to anchor a night?
