HEROES could very well hit 20 Million viewers by the end of the season.

Actually, that's ever-so-slightly down from week (About 500,000 viewers), probably because last week was so heavily advertised. Next week though, I could see it going as high as 18M viewers with the only new competition being Supernnany (Hee) and the Billboard Music Awards. I think it'll then go down to 13-14M up against 24 in the spring.

Is Heroes having a hiatus? It seems to be just running and running at the moment.

Nah. I think it will get there in Season 2, but not during the first season, unless it's for the finale.

Heroes will be bigger than Lost near the end of this season, I bet.

I don't even think it will for its finale. I really think 24 is going to hurt it. 24 will be hurt, too, but I'm guessing the second half of the season averages 11 or 12, with the finale being the only episode to top 15.

Will Heroes stick with 9PM on Monday? I think it may move. Sunday at 9PM possibly?

That is might impressive for Heroes even though it's a drop from its series high of 16m last week.
I'm surprised at just how many continuous episodes it went on for. Before they go on short hiatus they will have aired 11 episodes if I'm not mistaken.
If they return in January and go with new episodes all the way through it will finish around late March or early April. I think they should start re-airing it during February sweeps and then go on another month or so hiatus and return with like 7-8 new episodes leading to the finale.

I'm bummed that 24 and Heroes will air against each other. I'll probably have to start watching Heroes online when the CBS comedies aren't reruns.

That would be interesting to see which show will come up on top between 24 and Heroes. I hate to see that happen since Heroes has been growing on me. They pretty much share the same audience unlike the CSI vs Greys match up

Heroes is very visual and 2 and a half men and old christine are mostly one liners that don't really rely on you paying that much attention so I'd watch the cbs comedies online if I had to choose.

They don't put those comedies online, that I'm aware of

Libs, go here http://www.cbs.com/innertube/ then click on "all shows" and then "comedy". The whole Monday night comedy lineup is there.
At least now you have more options to choose from.

Heroes should move to 8PM. I think the fact they show the reruns on Scifi channel will hurt it more than 24. As for myself, I will watch 24 and tape Heroes, on a second TV. I am not missing 24 live, it is still my favorite show.

Ya, I think it wouldn't be too bad an idea to move Heroes to 8pm and DOND to 9pm. Heroes is strong enough to anchor the night for NBC. The only problem is whether they are willing to risk losing their biggest audience of the week with DOND at 8pm.

I think NBC will leave their best night of the week alone. Heroes will probably still be the number one new show, especially if Fox does the smart thing and moves House to Thursdays.

Reruns at this point will just allow people to catch on to the show while it's still this early in it's life - if it did cause it to lose any viewers, it's no more then the small amount that probably watch it online.

I know NBC is sticking with Studio 60 and all but if it gets even lower in the ratings... anyone think repeats of Heroes for others to watch/catch-up will do worse?

I still think it will hurt it. Any fan of 24 won't catch Heroes on Monday night unless they tape it or Tivo it. most will just watch in on Sci Fi Channel on the rerun. 24 has a strong fanbase.

Am I the only one who thinks that Heroes will hurt 24 more then 24 will hurt Heroes? 24 has a nice dedicated fanbase, but Heroes is the big success story of the season, the show everyone's talking about. How good have 24's ratings been the past couple seasons, I'd be kinda surprised if they were as strong as these last few episodes.

I definitely agree with the first thing you said... Heroes will hurt 24 more than 24 will hurt Heroes.
Heroes is on a high right now and I don't see it fading.
I think 24 averaged around 13 million last season (at most).
By February and thereafter, I think 24 will be averaging 11 million, Heroes 12-13 million, and Lost 14-15 million (I know it's not on monday, but these 3 seem to be the major cult-serialized shows right now)

Considering Fox currently has repeats of House on Mondays at 9, and they get 7-8 million, going up to an 11 million average means 24 could be stealing at least 2 or 3 million from Heroes. I'm still guessing that Heroes will be down to 11-12 million. It may still beat 24, and it will still be the #1 new show, but it won't be getting over 15 every week.
