All the people who said this episode was "horrible" were on crack. It was as good as ever.
And my GOD McSteamy is attractive.

YAY! ok. last week was just a fluke. Whoever said this week's episode was gonna be bad.. whatevah!
it was dark. it was focused. and it was unpredicatable. i loved it.
Finally, Meredith is showing some fierce girl power and the men in her life are the suckers.
and Bailey is soft and a bitch.
Alex is back to being a hot ass.
George is sweet and cute.
And interesting medical stuff.

No one said this episode was bad yet =). This episode was good. Last weeks was terrible this, however, was a vast improvement.
And yes, McSteamy is *very* attractive. I think he's the most attractive guy to be on Grey's Anatomy. Let's hope he sticks around until the end of the season.

I didn't like it. But just remember that I saw that episode prior to seeing the season premier.
And the choosing both guys was horrible and just brought back the whole Meredith Dilema. The Addison part was great though. And I hated when Bailey gave in to Izzi. So dumb.

By the way, does anyone else find themsleves suddenly loving Callie all of a sudden?
Last season when she was all Bitchy McBitch, I was just like "Hop off", but she's really endearing now. I loved her dancing in her underwear when Webber caught her.

You know why this episode was enjoyable? Because there was no mention of Denny, and almost no Izzie. Clearly, the answer to the whole suckiness problem is to kill her off, too.
This was pre-Denny enjoyable. I actually found it funny, and didn't hate all the characters. George went back to pre-sleeping-with-Meredith loveableness. I don't think he should die anymore! So, yes, I've returned to the dark side, and Grey's will be on my season pass as soon as my TiVo is installed tomorrow. But only for now. This time, I'm not going to give it until the end of the season to redeem itself. If the show turns back into the Izzie-and-some-guy-I-don't-care-about Show, I'm out.

bravo. I agree. I HATED that storyline. It was sappy and totally over the top. Thank god she (and the show) are snapping out of it.

So, I just caught this week's episode and I do agree with the majority, it was well above the crappy premiere.
Love Callie, love George, love Addison.
LOATHE Meredith and Derek.
Good and interesting patients (excluding tree guy).
Everything's back to normal!
I'm starting to find it annoying how blatant the writers are starting to be with reinforcing the staple Grey's Anatomy stuff. Like, alot of people made fun of the bizarre patients from previous seasons and then we get a guy with a tree stuck through his chest?? Come on. I feel like the writers have become way too in touch with audience and media expectation and are trying too much to incorporate the "pop culture"-ness of the show into almost all of the storylines. I'm starting to feel like the entire series is becoming one big inside joke.
And who noticed that when McSteamy came out of the bathroom there was this big whiff of steam that followed him out?

Really? Check it out at the free episodes at abc.com. I couldn't help but laugh with the writers on that one.
You hear the door opens, he steps out, it cuts to Derek, then cuts back to McSteamy with all this steaming blowing out of the bathroom and he says "we;;, this is awkward!"

No, I mean...
I wasn't really...paying attention...to the steam. I doubt many women/gay men were either, heh.

I know that's what you meant. What did you think I thought you meant?
I was only suggesting you can rewatch the scene at abc.com to see it. Don't know if you thought that I thought you hadn't seen the scene altogether... but oh well

That's funny that you say that to him, because Raffiki is himself a gay man.
PEACE, Mike.

Haha yes.
To clarify, Raffiki:
I assumed you thought I was just saying "Oh, what are you talking about, I didn't notice steam" rather than "I didn't notice the steam with the hotness of McSteamy grabbing my attention."

I thought this week's episode was great. Out of the 6 or 7 I've seen, I'd say it's probably one one of the best, actually. No overbearing melodrama, good writing, funny.
I should probably catch up on the first two seasons.

The premiere was weak for a premiere, but otherwise it was OK. This past episode was better than the premiere, but I felt both were solid episodes.
Izzy is a horribly used character. I love the actress, hate what they have done with the character, the premiere fell flat because it centered around her storyline when her storyline is weak.
Someone mentioned the patients ... i agree that it sucks the writers feel the need to go 'House' with it's patients. Why can't we have real life patients, real life problems, why do we have to have tree's sticking out of peoples chests and tumors making people say odd things? I mean, do all writers in hollywood feel that normal patients and the characters can't entertain us? Do they feel like we have that short of an attention span that we can't deal with a patient who plays sports, badly broke his leg, and is relying on the doctors the same way the black surgeon is? What about a grandfather who needs a quadruple bypass to give him a few more years with his grandkids and wife? Maybe most americans don't have the attention span for a realistic character, but I would much rather them err towards realism than away from it.
That said ... I can look past that and enjoy the show ... and I do.
Oh and Libs, I do find myself much more interested in Callie, but not with George ... they make a poor couple.
