Finding Nemo is a cute movie, but a bit overrated. I love Ellen in the movie, but I can't get into it like everybody else does. It is Pixar's best movie, I'm not a fan of Pixar.

7/10 (B)

Excellent. So much depth here, it actually deserved its giant gross, unlike one movie that comes to mind *cough*Shrek 2*cough*. I forget where I placed it but on my countdown of my opinion on what are the top 100 greatest movies I've seen(not my favorites) I ranked this at like 26th or 27th or somewhere like that. If it was favorites it'd be higher though. Toy Story is dangerously close to it in terms of what're my fave Pixar films. This ranked higher as its slightly better made, but Toy Story probably remains my fave.

To me it would be the greatest animation ever made if it wasn't for that phenomenom of a movie South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut...

Really, whenever a poster types the word "overrated" I think he/she should get zapped by some stream of electricity.

Not Pixar's best work, but still a great film. As Mr. X said, it's not that rewatchable. And it's perhaps a bit too kiddy. But it's quite funny, with great voice work, and great visuals. I wouldn't call it overrated, because it is a good film; perhaps just not as good as it could have been.

My favorite CGI still. South Park and Nightmare rank slightttlyyy higher on the animation scale, but this is still just fantastic.

Its still my favorite CGI film bar none. Toy Store and Toy Store 2 are close second/third but nothing can beat Nemo. And it such high rewatchability too.

Quite simply the best family film ever made. I think it's that good.

Pixar's first film that I'd call extraordinary (although it has been surpassed twice since its release, thanks to their two latest films), this is a film that's very funny, very sweet, very easy to relate to, and very entertaining. It covers every genre (excluding romance) perfectly, really defining a family experience.

Yeah, no.

I've grown to love it. Pixar's second best. Absolutely hilarious.

(Huh? I thought I had a review in here for sure. Here's my original review from May 2003...)

Pixarific!!!

Another classic cartoon from the folks at Pixar - they're still batting 1.000 after their 5th film! What can I say? A very heartwarming story backs up the mind blowing undersea renderings, along with the usual mix of kid's and adult's humor of both the verbal and visual varieties. Don't read about it - see it!

10 out of 5.

(In retrospect, I consider Finding Nemo to be in the second tier of Pixar movies, in that the story is quite simplistic compared to the subtle depth in the best of their work. This one is targeted more squarely at the kiddies, and it shows in it's BO success, but it doesn't rank up in the first tier of Pixar masterpieces with Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Ratatouille, and WALL·E - - but rather down with Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles (which are still great, great movies) - - and, of course, far ahead of the crappy Cars...)

Pixar's best film to date! Wonderful visuals, memorable (and hilarious!) characters and a heartfelt story make for an endearing and highly-entertaining experience for the whole family. Only surpassed by Spirited Away among animated films.

It gets a 9/10 (A-) just because of this part:

Dory: I shall call him squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my squishy. Come on, squishy. Come on, little squishy.
[baby talk]
Dory: Ow Bad squishy, bad squishy

Adorable.

The second best animated film I've ever seen behind Spirited Away. The animation is incredible, the characters are endearing and very memorable, it's great fun and the humor is excellent...I just love this movie.
