Decent for Crank after the bad tracking numbers.

Poor opening for the Wicker Man.

Little Miss Sunshine dropped only 11%.
That is really fantastic.

Glad to see Crank doing well. Hopefully it lends credence to future R-rated action films, which we need more of.

Pretty bad for everything, but Crank which beat the stupid tracking, The Illusionist and LMS.
Hopefully we're in for some extraordinarily good multipliers.
Projections:
1. Invincible - $14.4 million
2. Crank - $12.5 million
3. The Wicker Man - $10.8 million
4. Little Miss Sunshine - $9.3 million
5. Talladega Nights - $7.5 million
6. The Illusionist - $7.3 million
7. Accepted - $6.1 million
8. World Trade Center - $5.4 million
9. Step Up - $5.3 million
10. Crossover - $4.7 million

Looking at these numbers...it's actually pretty great for Invincible. It could pass $60 million.

While this weekend will be down a bit from last year, we will be substancially ahead of 2004!

Where the hell is Beerfest?
Quote: 1. Invincible - $14.4 million 2. Crank - $12.5 million 3. The Wicker Man - $10.8 million 4. Little Miss Sunshine - $9.3 million 5. Talladega Nights - $7.5 million 6. The Illusionist - $7.3 million 7. Accepted - $6.1 million 8. World Trade Center - $5.4 million 9. Step Up - $5.3 million 10. Crossover - $4.7 million
No bad, but Crossover and Beerfest will probably kill my chances of a very good score.

the illutionist seems to be doing good for a film with such small appeal and such small theater count.

Hmm, decent for Crank (considering the tracking, it's very good), pretty bad for The Wicker Man and Crossover, and nice for Little Miss Sunshine, Invincible and The Illusionist.
Overall, boring weekend.

I think some of your multipliers are too high, especially Crossover. That'll probably end up closer to $4 million.

If it has the same multiplier as The Cookout did on Labor Day weekend in '04, $4.7m is what you get.

It's not going to get the same family audience over the weekend.. male fans of the game probably went to see it yesterday and word will get around how little gameplay is in the movie and how bad it is. I think Crossover will be closer to $4 million. Crank/Wicker Man seem about right.
(After a bit more research: Okay, maybe it can make that amount... bad movies like Paparazzi had a 4.0 mult for the weekend. Cookout isn't a good comparison because that's a comedy and those tend to be stronger over Labor Day weekend, as opposed to on Friday.)

Nice thanks. I think Crank is spot on...Wicker is a bit low. Broken Flowers is not a good comparison IMO.

CRANK is hard R vs PG13 SWAT & TRANSPORTER 2 which should hurt the multiplier.

That's awful for both. Any word on how The Quiet did?
As for the wide releases:
Wicker Man disappoints. It should have been able to make at least 3 million.
Crank does decently.
Crossover meets lowered expectations.
Nice for The Illusionist.
