The opposite happens quite a bit, though. It's nothing all that special. I've stopped watching several shows recently. Without a Trace, all CSIs, That 70's Show. Lost (if it doesn't get its shit together this season). Even The Simpsons, my favorite show of all time, has received this treatment over the last few seasons.

Desperate Housewives...i always refused to watch this show because i thought it was a chick show where its all about love stories and triangles but its not even like that...its a show of lies and gossip and its actually interesting...im enjoying the first season but i heard the second season isn't really that good

I hated Friends when it first started.. then it slowly but surely became my favorite show. I didn't like Desperate Housewives at first, either. I started watching the show midway through its season, and ended up liking it and going back and downloading the whole first half of the show.

I love Big Brother. Even the Australian version is a shit version, it still gets me hooked. But the freaks on BBUK are the best.
