 Arrested Development... The Movie?
Maybe.
http://www.iwatchstuff.com/2006/07/arre ... ie_in.html
I would crap my pants.
And it's not that it would need to be a theatrical release or anything. Let's say the show does really well and picks up some Emmys next month... the least Fox could do is give it a measly little 2-hour slot one night. On a Friday or something.
Maybe just more wishful thinking (probably, in fact), but we can hope.

A theatrical release would be a waste. In the case of "Firefly", at least it had some sort of a cult sci-fi following, not to mention there's people who just see a sci-fi movie. This would need incredible trailers to hook non-viewers.
But, say it did hit theatres, I wonder if Ron Howard would direct, or would they stick to one of the directors from the show?

For a theatrical release... I'm sure Ron can pull some strings and get some high profile actors to guest on them.

There's a Will Arnett inteview that talks a little bit about it. Nothing big, though. But he does talk about his Emmy nomination and stuff.

AD has a quite loyal cult following too.

I tried to watch the pilot to AD last night. I got halfway through till I gave up out of boredom of the story and disinterest of all the characters.

Same. I've tried to watch the show, but I've never ever "got" it. Nothing even close to a chuckle.

So you gave up on a show, like, 12 minutes in?

The pilot is very, very overrated. However, it only goes up from there. Try watching the first four episodes before giving up. Thats how many it took to hook me.

Yeah, the pilot is actually a little overrated, though. I agree. Keep going.
