It and 28 Weeks Later are gonna get trampled. There's no room for them amongst all the blockbusters.

True - they wont be hits but may get a bit of spillover business. Shame both are horror films! Perhaps one horror film and one drama/romantic film could have done better. Romance film up against Spidey and horror up against Shrek/Pirates. Still May is all about 3 UBER films

The Prestige moved up a week to October 20, against Flag of our Fathers, Flicka, Killshot, and Marie Antoinette.

Only a year and a half between Bond films, I'm not sure if that's too soon. But the first weekend of May should definitely help it.

Horror films GRUDGE 2, TCM:TB and SAW 3 are going to ruin a lot of peoples hopes in October. Usually the shitty* stuff makes a lot more money.
*According to movie experts. However they are right on the money when they class SAW & SAW 2 as shitty films.

Not a good move. Moving to early November would have been better. It's second weekend is going to be awful, and then it's gonna face an onslaught of dark adult-oriented flicks.

I dont know what to make of The Prestige's move. On one hand Sun Ra is correct - its second weekend will be attrocius unless it has mega word of mouth - but its good it got out of October too.

Is that the third or fourth time it's moved?

The Sarah Jessica Parker-Luke Wilson snuff thriller Vacancy will open wide on April 13 (Friday the 13th, spooky?) next year.

That's when New Line should release the new Friday the 13th film.

Also, the third Resident Evil movie will open on September 7, 2007.
Employee of the Month has been moved again, this time back three weeks to October 6.

I'm surprised by the PG-13 rating, looks like they don't want to go the way of Waiting.
