That'd be another record for X-3, then.

Congrats!
The days may have been off, but the 3-day and the 4-day predictions were excellent! Great job, David. You're on a roll this year (too bad about Over the Hedge, though).

Well, the daily tracking is almost on par with Harry Potter 3 now, though it is still ahead of it by over $20 million in terms of total gross.

Will X3 reach $250 million?
I added a poll to this one.
Do you think the film can outgross Harry potter 3 and thus pass the $250 million mark?
I say "yes", pegging its final gross at around $255-260 million.

It'll sit at around $180-183 million after the weekend. At the rate it's falling, I doubt it'll pass $250 million. I see around $240-245 million, as I originally predicted. I just imagined better legs before Friday.

It would probably sit at 240 at its rate. Unless 2006 is a new bar for how multipliers are set the same year 2003 was for most summer movies which coeincidently started with X-men also

Harry Potter ans the Prisoner of Azkaban slowly, but surely is crawling to X3 and going to pass it eventually. Still, a superb run!

So can we safely call this the most frontloaded movie of all time? 230 mil is still an excellent gross, but damn did it ever fall hard.
Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix should have a similar situation next year, except even more extreme IMO. That movie is going to die soooooo quickly. X3 and it should have a nice comparison run, probably charted in a similar chart fashion by Lecter once again.

Well considering what the other 2 made, this really is damn good for as much fanboy shi* that was whipped upon Brett Ratner and how this movie would fail without Singer and you know what?? Looks like Ratner proved many of folks wrong.. X3 will end up with more than what SR will get.. That much I am certain of..
