I don't watch enough television to do that.
Definitely Laurie for best actor and House for best... whatever it's submitted under.
I hope The Colbert Report gets some recognition. (even though, if the show doesnt, there'll be an hilarious "Look who's not honoring me now" segment to start off his show. )

I'm going to do stuff that is on the fence/likely not happening/not happening at all.
Drama: Veronica Mars
Actress Drama: Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars
Supporting Actor Drama: Enrico Colantoni, Veronica Mars
Supporting Actress Drama: Mary Lynn Rajskub, 24
Comedy: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Supporting Actress Comedy: Jenna Fischer, The Office (doesn't get enough credit, like John Krasinski does)
Those are obvious ones that I soooo wish would happen.

Denis Leary for Best Actor
The chick who plays Sheila on Rescue Me for Best Supporting Actress
Rescue Me for Drama
Victor Garber for Best Supporting Actor
Jennifer Garner for Best Actress (And the win... I may have to take Michael's place as the Emmys approach )
Lena Olin for Best Guest Appearance
As many nominations as Six Feet Under can get.

I'd like to see The Office be nominated for a whole crapload (Comedy Series, Actor in a Comedy, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress).
At least one acting nod for 24 besides Kiefer.
At least a couple acting nods for Lost.
I'd like to see Hugh Laurie be given the Emmy for best actor without any other nominees announced. But, as it's not happening, I'd like to see House nominated for Best Drama.
I'd like to see nothing for Will & Grace.

1. Rachel Griffiths, Six Feet Under, best supporting actress
2. Lauren Ambrose, Six Feet Under, best supporting actress
3. Scrubs finally scoring some acting noms
4. The Office scoring any major noms
5. A Desperate Housewives shutout
Frances Conroy probably gave the best female performance of the year, I'd say, but it was Rachel Griffiths and Lauren Ambrose who really carried Six Feet Under in its final episodes, and sadly, they're likely to be overlooked. Griffiths virtually transformed Brenda in the show's fifth season from unstable sexcapader into conflicted mother, and it ended up probably being my personal favorite performance of the year. Ambrose did virtually the same, lending her talents to show's plotline that ultimately rested on her shoulders in the final scenes of the show's closing. Virtuoso performances. (And they've been nominated before for much less.)
I could deal with Scrubs not scoring a series nod. It deserves it, even more than last year when it received its first, but it already has one. Unfortunately, none of its actors other than Zach Braff do, and they actually all give better performances than he does. That's not to say he doesn't deserve a nom this year -- he does, too -- but Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes, John C. McGinley, and Donald Faison were all funnier than Braff this year, and they're looking to be overlooked yet again.
Carell has a nom in the bag for The Office, but as in the case of Scrubs, I'd say the lead is the weak link here: John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, and the show itself all deserve noms over him, and while the show has a decent shot at making it into the top 5, I'm still doubtful there.
And it just pisses me off that Housewives is probably going to take the place of stuff like Scrubs, The Office, and Lauren Graham. So please, shutout.
I guess in general what I'd most like to see is a general shake-up of things. But who am I kidding, I'm really just pulling for MY shows. My precious shows...

Laurie's pretty much a shoo-in. The show's got a shot, but it's unlikely.
If Colbert doesn't get a nom for variety show, I can see him getting one for variety performance. After all, we probably heard way more about him this year than we did Jon Stewart.

The Daily Show hasn't been quite as good since Stephen Colbert left it. It's odd, the funniest part of The Daily Show now is when they check in with Colbert at the end of the show.

Lauren Ambrose, Rachel Griffiths, and Michael C. Hall all getting nominations for 6FU. An almost impossibility, I know, but they deserve it so much.
And of course, a nod in Drama, Writing, Directing, and for Frances Conroy.
In other categories, I want a DH shutout in series, and maybe 1 or 2 nods in actress.

So the nominations are announced in 7 hours or so. Of course, I will be awake at the ungodly hour of 5 AM as I get ready for work anyway. Who's waiting to be surprised, or not?

I'll probably be up.
I'm going to be disappointed. I just know it. I can feeeeel it.
Something ridiculous is going to happen: Six Feet Under's going to miss out on a Best Drama nod, all 5 housewives will be nominated, The Office or Scrubs will be bumped for Two and a Half Men...
I can feel it. I am GOING to be pissed.

The Emmys never miss out on a chance to disappoint us all.
Oh yes, there will be bitching.

Yeah, I'm preparing myself to be disappointed. Lauren Graham will be nominated, simply because the critics have decided she must be to prove that the new system "works" but Kristen Bell will be snubbed. That is my absolute worst nightmare.

The comedy category is the only thing I like. Oh, and Lauren Graham not getting nominated.
House got nominated but Hugh Laurie didn't? Jason Bateman got no love? Steve Carell is nice, but no Mary-Louise Parker?

No Mary Louise
I'm trying to find out the supporting categories, hopefully they have sane nominations, lol.
24 leads all dramas with 12 nominations
Will and Grace (surprise, surprise) leads all comedies with 10 nominations

They're not up on the emmy website yet... they're taking forever this time.
