 The Omen Tuesday gross guesses
Well, I thought a nice, short-living, last-minute thread on the topic would be good to see who can nail its Tuesday more correctly. I know we've already got a thread on the film, but we have multiple threads on many films, so this one can't hurt.
Simple question:
How much do you think will The Omen make on its opening day?
Opening in 2,660 theatres, I say...
$7.2 million

If it's not 6.66, I'll say around 7 million as well.
Massive frontloading going into the weekend though. I have it at 22 mil over the 6 days.

I actually do think around 6.6 sounds about right. It'd be funny if it does happen though.

Really, it would be pathetic for the studio responsible for this remake to come out with a figure like that.. Bad enough the Marketing will kill this but come on.. I'm going with 3 Million and that's being generous..

I'll go to the high end of the curve and guess $10m...
BTW, is a Tuesday release unprecedented?

A $10M Tuesday would put it in the Top 10 for a Tuesday gross, and this movie isn't in the same league as Cast Away, Shrek, Spider Man, Meet The Fockers, etc.

I think it might be able to do 6 mill as well. So I'll also say 6.6 mill.
