I,ve been scanning my dvd collection an have decided to throw up a few vs movie comparisions since I always like to get peoples views on movies. Each pair off will have a link sometimes tenuous but ill try to be sensible and i hope this brings up good debate

First up two relics of 1980s bombast, and two brilliantly guilty pleasures (for me anyway) Two actors (Stallone and Swartzenager) in there Prime taking on unfriendly forces with focused zeal. I always enjoy these movies whenever I rewatch them with Predator getting the nod for quality. Any movie that depicts a man carrying around and firing a gun normally used on armoured personal carriers really does have that little something extra, coupled with an enemy that just sends a chill of excitment down the spine whenever it appears (we'll forget the regreatably silly looking steroid pumped Predators in AVP) and you have the perfect 80s action movie. Rambo stands the test of time very well too with Stallones tortured soul adding unexpected depth to the story. Predator edges it for me
