Yeah, no growth in character at all.
Sheesh, even Taylor Townsend changed quickly.

Taylor Townsend continues to be the best character on this show.
Anna comes back next week! Yay!
*Finally* there will be some sort of resolution to the Theresa storyline, took them long enough.

This is the wrong time for Anna to come back. I like Summer and Seth together. On a semi-related note, Taylor is very nice to Summer (whom I like), much better than she was when she first appeared on the show as a nemesis of sorts.

Why are you guys still watching this show.
I watched the episode where it was raining in california yesterday and adam brody and benajimin wtfishisname didnt want to go outside because it was wet and so they dealt with their issues together over the cellphone.
I am seriously displeased at such retarded writing.

Ask Ausiello from TV Guide has it that there is a Season 4 of The O.C., with the characters Taylor Townsend and Kaitlin Cooper becoming a series regular and a supposed major revamp of the series.

With the ratings its getting I'm frankly surprised that Fox seems to have given another season to the show. It's nice to hear Taylor is becoming a series regular as she's my favorite character right now.
SPOILER AHEAD
I hope [spoil]Marissa[/spoil] is the one who [spoil]hovers near death[/spoil] as I can't stand [spoil]her[/spoil].

Why does this show only seem to get good at the end of the season now?
Very excellent episode. I missed Anna.
I'm glad to hear Theresa didn't have Ryan's baby, that would've been ludicrous.
I'm also happy they're finally giving Kirsten a storyline, even if it's basically the same one she already had.
People on this continue to do moronic things, though. Marissa was likeable for one episode and then she acts like a dingbat and goes back to Volchok. She just needs to shut up.
Also, Seth? Summer? Maybe Summer should try talking to Anna or something instead of just walking away. Ugh.

Probably the best episode since Season 3 started last night.
The whole Summer and Seth thing is still incredibly annoying, though. The entire problem could be solved with one sentence.

Heh. Yeah.
I've watched since season one. I have both seasons on DVD.
Seriously, when it's on it's game, it's one of the best written and well acted shows on television. When it's off, it's almost unbearable. Last night, it was *on*.

For me, it was on for all of Season 1, and around 40% of Season 2 most of that being the end stretch of episodes, and Season 3 I've barely even watched. But yeah, Season 1 and the other cases where it's hit it's been excellent. OTH has always had better writing and I've personally been more attached to it, but OC's Season 1 matches up to it or even beats it in cases with it's other factors. But the show has just fallen off so much, I can't bring myself to really watch any more.
I think the biggest mistake they ever did was when they eliminated all their core supporting characters. Anna, Luke, Theresa. They could've come in handy big time when the focus on Marissa started to tear down the show, people still could've conceded in just liking those 3's roles while disregarding the rest.
I'm happy they're "revamping" the show though. I might catch on again next season if they succeed.

Lisa: Hey Taylor!
Taylor: I see you made it back in time fior prom! You were great on Idol!
Lisa: I wouldn't miss this for anything in the world! Well, almost anything!

Bravo.

blah my friend made me watch an episode yesterday.
BLAH. Mischa Barton is hot but bitch seriously needs some acting lessons.
And I am still not sure what the buzz around Adam Brody is...

Was I hallucinating or was tonight's episode actually good?
It's easily the best of the season so far IMO. I'm glad this show is starting to get better and it's a relief that it's been picked up for a fourth season as well.

Taylor: "His body is so hairless... it's like dating a seal."
Summer: "I have... to go..."

wow. I had no ideas some people still watched this show.
I haven't seen a single episode since finishing the entire first season on DVD but I dropped in to say that I watched some old Once and Again episodes this past weekend and Mischa Barton's acting in the few episodes she was in (Season 3) were better than anything I've seen from her on the OC.
@Michael: sorry you can't see the fuss about Adam Brody. Haven't watched him on TV fro 2 years but I think he's really funny. He had a hillarious cameo in Thank You for Smoking.
